About This Experience
For many children from economically vulnerable families, the concept of a classroom is unfamiliar during their earliest years. Before formal schooling begins, many toddlers spend their days accompanying their parents to informal work environments simply because there are no early learning spaces available to them.
A Day in the First Classroom is designed to introduce these children to the world of learning for the very first time.
During this Impact Experience, supporters and volunteers join SkyOS Foundation in creating a welcoming early learning environment where children participate in simple yet meaningful activities such as alphabet recognition, storytelling, number games, drawing sessions, and early writing exercises.
For the children, this experience becomes their first interaction with structured learning. For participants, it provides a powerful opportunity to observe how curiosity and confidence begin to grow when children are exposed to the right environment at the right time.
The experience also creates space for meaningful conversations with families, helping supporters understand the financial and social realities that influence whether children begin their educational journey early or spend their formative years in labour environments.
By participating in these sessions, supporters witness why sustained educational support creates far greater impact than occasional acts of charity.
