About This Experience
Many children do not formally drop out of school. Instead, they gradually stop attending, miss classes regularly, and eventually become disconnected from the education system. Over time, this gap becomes difficult to recover, and rejoining school feels less likely.
This experience focuses on identifying such children and bringing them back into the school system through actual re-enrollment. Participants help locate children who are no longer attending school and understand the reasons behind their absence.
The process involves working closely with families and coordinating with nearby schools to complete the re-enrollment process in a structured manner. The focus is on ensuring that the child is officially reintroduced into the system, not just encouraged informally.
A key part of this experience is what happens after enrollment. Rejoining school is only the first step. Maintaining continuity is equally important. Participants observe how follow-ups and consistent engagement help children remain connected to school.
This experience highlights that preventing dropouts often begins with bringing children back at the right time and supporting them consistently afterward.
